mini lst2 just stops

hello everyone, i'm new to the electric world. got my son a mini lst2. we can go for a minute or two then it stops. you can still steer but no throttle. the red light on the esc is blinking. what is it? thanks

try resetting the esc

went to the track today. first time i got to really try out the mini. first let me say the thing is pretty awesome all stock. but the thing was stopping again. someone at the track said it was prolly getting hot. thermal shutdown or something. so someone else hit it with a temp gun and it's not getting hot. noone had any ideas other than call losi. i'll call them tomorrow and see what they say.

I don't run a losi but I was driving my Rage and it felt really hot and it died. Turns out the ESC was dead...
