Mini e-revo battery

quick question on charging the battery that comes with the mini revo, what is the highest/safest amperage i can charge it at, my peak charger will charge at 1 amp, 2 amps, and 4 amps. It just takes too long to charge at 1 amp and i was wondering if i could charge it at 2 amps or even 4 amps and not hurt my battery, 2 would be fine but i just want to make sure i can charge it at that rate before i go and do it.

P.S. LiPo is absolutely ridiculous on this little rig, waaaaaaaay too much kick for something this small, i got rid of my lipos and charger and picked up another traxxas battery and 2 venom 1600 mah batterys for less than i paid for my lipos and my charger, ok i'm done venting now

you can't do more than 1 amp...will fry it....rule is no more amps per mah/hour rating..so if the pack is 1200 - that means 1.2 amps max per hour...so 1 amp is it...or you kill it quick...i charge mine at either .8 or 1 amp...takes over an hour yes...

Sorry bud..that is the way it is...i also started out on 2 of the 1200's and bought 2 of the 1600's as well..now i don't use them..just the 3s LiPo's and got a deal on 2 more coming....i enjoy the insanity!

to each their own i suppose, i like it on the NiMh batteries plenty quick for me and for where i run it at its MORE than enough power, i got 25 minutes out of 2 packs in series i suppose thats pretty good. if you're not using the 1600's any more would you want to get rid of them?????

i have 1200 and 2 1600's...i'm gonna keep them..the liPo's are gonna be my main packs but we'll see how long they last before the cells die..so for now i'm gonna hang on to them bud...

thats cool man, i just ordered 3 1600's off tower, i already have one i don't really like the traxxas 1200, it does n't last long enough for me

the standard 1200's from traxxas suck.....the 1600 orion or venom packs are the best deal..my LHS had them for the same price as tower after i would pay shipping..so i bought 2 when i 1st got my MERV....but the lack or run time in series bothered me...and yes i'm a speed demon so when i went LiPo i got the 3s packs and they rock..and after a few cycles the packs are running then truck even longer...2 3s lipos in parallel gives me over 1/2 an hour of insane run time..i went LiPo also becasue i will own a helicopter here at some point soon..and it will be LiPO - so i bought a charger to handle all the packs i will have...
