Mini-car mods?

Hey ya, this miight be in the wrong place, I don;t have a feel for where people hang in the forums and where stuff belongs yet.

Anywas I picked up two of these, got them as a gift. they were kinda neat but were put away quickly hehe.. being wet and mushy here I can't run the big boys and I am bored. I am wondering if any of you guys have modded these types of cars yet..

If so what did you do? how did you do it, and do you have pics?

Anyhow I got one apart and I'm thinking about what to do to it, got some ideas but wnated to know if anything has been done yet thanks

I had two of those exact same ones I got FAR from ecost.com, they both broke within two days, I ended up getting a ZipZap from Radio Shack for xmas which I thought might be a little better quality but I guess they are all basically the same setup.

Radio Shack sells a ton of stuff for the ZipZap line including bigger motors, wheels and tires so some of the stuff may also fit the ones you have but I am not 100% sure.

I've got mine apart.. I found what the problem is with their steering they use hair sized copper wire with no insulation for steering lol.. fixed that.. going to take it down to rat shack and see what they have

I'd go with a ZipZap. (I actually get a lot of use out of mine) I've got a cheapy mini that was given to me, and I never use it. The range on it is maybe all of two feet. It seems like just standing up gets the transmitter out of range.

extended antena, 2 batteries, motor from a playstation, and a body made out of paper........yes paper, sort of like those serpent style ones good downforce......my dog ate the damn thing
