So my mgt 4.6 tranny started to slip the next day wouldn't move at all unless off ground so i pulled the tranny for the first time took it all apart all the gears seemed good one of the shafts were snapped though not sure what part it is exactly, does anyone have a diagram of the tranny or know what shaft it would be or if i should get a new tranny or fix and add fok can, post pictures if needed

There is the link that has all the diagrams for the MGT. I would recommend doing there FOC to make the trans more durable. If it is just a broken pin then I would order the part and repair the trans instead of replacing it. The ole monster GT one heck of a strong truck. I have two of them.

So fron the link you showed me the shaft apparently is the two speed shaft does the foc come with one also would this be a explanation for tranny slip then fully gone or is there more i,should order to be safe hate shipping time, and my lhs takes forever

FOC comes with new 2 speed shaft. Make sure you get the correct one ordered they make two separate FOC one for the 8.0 and one for the 4.6 truck. The part# is ASC25415 for the 4.6 truck. I have never broke a shaft in mine just stripped a set of gears but that's when I had the reverse installed. Make sure you clean the oneway bearing for proper operation. When you install it back together use a very little bit of white lithium grease. I know someone on here is prob going to say never grease the trans gears but I can tell you it makes a huge difference in the MGT trans a HUGE difference. You just got to use very little on the gears. I would recommend also to check the grub set screw that secures your 2 speed adjustment and make sure it is locked down tight onto the shaft after reassembly main reason why the trans can start slipping.
