on my MIP tuned pipe header their is metal crap in it and I was wondering if i use a dremal tool to clear some of it would it hurt anything about 1/4 of it is blocked.

sounds like flashing from the casting process, if it's sharp then yes, remove it carefully, don't go into the wall of the header as this will make it thin and could deform when running

If its just a bur then take it off..
but if it is uniformed all the way around the header don't you will lose back pressure in the engine. I have yet to see a tuned pipe header combo that needed to have any thing done to it! Out of the box I have how ever taken the dremel and polished the opening of the header just to smooth it out for better flow my :2cents:

No its not flashing. It looks like when someone welded the header to gether they left welds in the header. but only in the bottom I dont wont to get rid of it all but just bring it down

Can you take a pic of it? I don't want to tell you to do something with out seeing it first.

That whoud be cool Ill send you my email addy or you can post it in here..
