This just popped up on my Amazon feed: a metal forge. Starting at $108/shipped! I didn't know you could start a blacksmith hobby for so cheap. Boy, those Vevor people sure makes thing affordable!

The 3 burner is $215. Pic looks out of place and photo shopped.
Vevor is legit. They make a lot of unique stuff for very cheap. Typically, not of the highest quality, but they do work for light duty use.

I'd love to see you get into that and follow along. You can build your own forge pretty easily with bricks. But that looks like a fairly cheap option. Just don't burn your house down 😉

That's exactly what I need: another hobby! 🤣
You could diy your own forge, but for $100 for this thing, all the engineering and guess work is done for you, and in a nice clean package! Can't be it!

Yeah, I would only worry about firing it up, walking away, and coming back to a lava flow off my workbench and a gas line turned flame thrower waving around like a wacky waving Inflatable Arm-Flailing tube man.

I've owned one of their high pressure air compressors for my airgun hobby for a number of years now. My compressor puts out pressure to a max of 4500psi. Anyone who understands air pressure knows that this is an extremely dangerous level to be dealing with. These compressors can't really be built in a flimsy manner, or you would essentially be dealing with a potential bomb.
Anyways, the point being here is that Vevor does a solid job with these compressors for a fractions of the price of a big brand name, so I do have faith in the products that they sell.
.......for light duty.

Rigid brand Anvils are $$$$. True steel drop forged type & extra hardened & made in Germany. I bought this one years ago for like $80-$100 I think off ebay. It's a cast steel hardened one. 70~ pounds. You need at least a 70-75 pound one so it won't move around while working. Good for basic blacksmithing. The one in the background is a farriers anvil. The heel is broken.

Oh no no! A classic Road Runner with a Hemi is awesome! I had the stuff together to do some basic blacksmithing until I had a accident hiking & dislocated my shoulder. I even went to a blacksmithing festival & show in Ashville NC
