No not quite! You will figure it out. All joking aside I never recognized I did it too, until I hung around here and heard about it. I dont race, but i did make a track in the backyard. The nearest track is about an hour away or I would compete.

this winter I'm gonna try to kill the yard around the course and see if i can make a small track for me and the son, i am waiting on the tekno slider from @9x19 , ts primarily going to be for bashing but after seeing all youse guys on the tracks it just looks too cool
got the slider paid for now i get to start picking out electronics for iteyeballing that nsdrc servo you have on yours @TeknoJ

I've been eyeballing 3 so far at this point tho its gonna come down to what i have that my wife will let me spend next friday, I'm gonna stay in the 3s zone, as I'm just too rough on stuff to go higher yet as per my teachers suggestions,
looking at maybe a scrqatch n dent tekkin motor, or a hobbywing maybe? I'm capping the motor esc at 250 can't really afford that but ill manage if i want to , but if i can find something a little cheaper i probably will just read a few posts and make a spurr of the moment decision lol

You'd be better off saving a little at a time and buying decent gear for that Tekno. You got a top of the line kit there. If you put cheap electronics in it you're out of the club

But I get it. I'm poor as F and electronics always puts the brakes on for my projects.

Just keep an eye out on eBay for stuff. You may find a good Tekin esc for cheap( an outdated one like the rs2?), that will still be very good. I have the hobbywing max10 and a 3200kv in mine and it’s just fine for what I do with it. The newer versions should be that much better. The Tekin motors are pretty good, just get a 4pole like a pro4 or something. I actually have 2 scratch n dent Tekin motors that are pretty flawless in condition.
