What i have used in the past was a easy knock down enclosure. Use a low cfm bathroom exhaust fan at the back of your enclosure with a piece of furnace filter over it .Run the piece of flex duct right out the window.Make sure the plug and cord you put on it is 3prong grounded. This takes the fumes out without pullin the paint away from what your shooting.:D

Well, I don't guess I'll be painting anything anytime soon, as nowhere within a 30 minute drive even carries the flat black Krylon, and the LHS it too far away, and is closed for the next ten days since the owner is on vacation. I really hate living here in podunk at times thanks to BS like this.

Need to stock up on that stuff like groceries.:hehe:

^^LMAO

Well, I was wrong (imagine that :D) It wasn't Krylon fusion in flat black that I needed, it was Krylon ultra flat in black, make sense? Big thanks to NCnitro for being the guniea pig and finding out this will work. Just picked up 2 cans and a window fan on my lunch break. Hope to get started, and possibly finished tonight. I'm excited, I haven't painted anything in years.

So what color are you painting the inside? Make sure you post pics after you finish. Do it in several light coats too, don't lay it on thick.

I love the Krylon Ultra Flat black look on bodies.

It will be all flat black NC with some stickers. Thanks for the pic and the tips, I love it, especially for a basher. Not to mention, the wheels and all the plastic parts are already that color anyway, so it should work well.

I'll definitely get pics of it, I just hope two cans is enough, should be since it's a 5B and not a T though.

One can should be more than enough. I can usually do a couple lids with one can. Like this one :D

Another nice thing is when it starts to look crappy, just throw a fresh coat on and it looks brand new again. But one thing, if at all possible do not use peel and stick decals printed on clear vinyl. If you do, cut as closely as possible to the print and leave as little clear as possible, or it will be quite noticeable. I like to use plotter cut vinyl decals on flat lids, they just look 100x better.

God i love that jeep. Well I was planning on using some of the factory stickers. Is there a glue I could use and put them on the inside or something if I can't trim them close enough?

You could, but once you paint the outside you wont see them anyway :hehe:

Just trim them very close, don't use the factory cut.
