it will be eventually lol, i have a spare ar60 axle i loaned a friend I'm asking about getting back for this, i think i have a set of steel driveshafts that might fit, i gotta find em tho ... good times

It's currently brushed
I'm on the fence about it tho still. i like the power of brushless, but I'm going to be realy reckless with it, so on one hand brushless yessss, but on the other hand brushed is probably thew way i should go for this wraith

Yeah, you can always gear down and reduce punch to keep BL tame... But there will come a day when you're gonna say "maybe if I try it on max power for juuust a minute". And on that day, sh*t will break

This is exactly what I was thinking lol until I have a new drivetrain and such in hand to replace I'm gonna keep it brushed
I also have like 6 brushed motors on hand so have options lol

BUT... this is good for another "Whats this noise?" video so the cycle continues and all is good in the universe.

Is this another of the "I'm not buying anything" weekend score?

No lol this was in the bundle from the last "I can't afford bread even but I can afford an rc score" lol
Got this the stampede, big rock, rustler, ascent, all for 500 total
Wife was even on board a week later when I admitted to her why I was broke lolol

It doesn't compare to the others .... YET.
It's slow and doesn't do much yet
But I wanted it cause of its potential so I may end up doing something cool with it but I don't think it's ever going to be a star of my garage.
But I do like that I can hit stuff full blast and it just rolls up n over
But it won't crawl atm
It won't race atm
It is different and needs work that I can't afford ATM lol
But she's slowly gonna come together

Well I'm glad Mrs Majin is ok with the truck(s) too!
A slow build means you have more time to shop and save for "the right part" each time.
You can't rush a job if you don't have all the parts!
It'll make for an overall better "finished" truck I'll bet!
Fast or slow, it looks like a fun start!

Yeah there's a big difference in brushless, alot faster. And if your a full time basher like I am and a bad driver, it leads to a lot of repairs lol

did a thing i guess
kills me to buy something like this used, I'm positive I'm gonna get something that has major issues.. we will see

drove the wraith around for a min and really hate the motor it has, decided thats my christmas to me maybe i will be more my speed now

man that new motor was fun while it lasted, i blasted around the yard for around 4 mins before the wraith just sorta died.. no clue yet what the issue is its just sitting in the bathtub waiting for me to get to a tear down, probly something simplr tho,
but while it was running it was keeping pace with the king sling, sadly i had the camera mounted on the slings controller ( my bro was using it) so all the video is just of the ground at his feet lol, but it was a BLAST!!!
jumped up to easily one of my new favorites!

took the wraith out for a spin, flipped it a few times, wrecked it many more, then decided to finish it off by driving into a puddle deeper that the truck is tall lol, fully submerged,

went offroad and found a pretty cool spot to crawl can't wait to bring other trucks thru there

pretty sure its a reciever issue, I've been drowning them to discover which i havent waterproofed, lol
