A friend of mine bought a muggy... don't waste your dough unless you have a few hundred more laying around. A replacement chassis and top plate is almost a must. The stock ones bend like a wet noodle. It has similarities to the LST, but not as many as most think. The arms, axle carriers and wheel axles/cvd's are the same, but that's about it. Pretty much everything else is different. It's built relatively weak. It looks tough, but it really isn't. When I first saw his, I thought it would hold up well. It barely made it through the day before the chassis looked like a banana. :banana:

I had the mammoth ST and it was pretty flexible as well. It was also overly long. It handled pretty good, but the original diffs were weak as were the chassis braces. I replaced my two-speed with a center diff to help prolong the life of the diffs. I kept tearing up spur gears due to the severe chassis flex when jumping, which is also why I went with a center diff.
 
Yes. Tuggy originated from buggy converted to monster truck. A Truggy has three differentials, and that's really where it's determined if it's a Truggy (or Arena Truck as it's new name is taking over) or a Monster Truck. Though trucks like the Revo can have a center dif, they still have a gear reduction transmission and that's what makes them a Monster truck.
