hellfire would do laps around the LST2.

An answer like this is of no help to the member posting the question.

Please explain your reasoning so that he can make a descision based on something tangible.

Thanks

Thread moved to general nitro talk.

i know the lst2 is not a truggy. Sorry, but what i ment was that if I was to turn one of these cars into a truggy, with a wing, tires, diff, etc. which one would hold up better. Also which one is a better rtr?

I had an LST2 for about 2 weeks and out of the box stock it was a performer. How would it handle against a Hellfire... I have mixed feelings about this since I have seen some that are just tough but others weaker than a TMAXX. I got rid of it in hopes to get a different ride...

I have not owned a Hellfire but if I were you, there are other truggies that have a positive reputation.

There are many to be said.. Do a search here on the truggy forum.

Ones that come to mind..

Kyosho ST-R

Mugen MBX5-T

Xray XB8 ( can't remeber the name of it )

Losi 8ight T

CEN racing Matrix Arena

That is what I can think of right now..

Or if your looking at an out of the box deal there is always losi's Muggy, which is basically a lst2 with pin tires and wing. Just a thought.

I wouldn't describe the Muggy as just a LST2 with different tires and a wing. It's an entry level truggy. It has all the makings of a truggy, just not as many tuning options as the full out race truggys out there.

It has a much different suspension geometry than the LST2. Also center diff and pan chassis with much lower center of gravity.

On a side note I my raced out LST2 CAN run circles around a friend of mines Hellfire. And then drive over it.

I was looking around, and i saw the mammoth st pro in the may 2007 issue of RC car action. That looks like a very nice truck, and the price compared to all the other kits seems pretty low. Another one of my favorite trucks I saw was the Xray xt8.

This just proves that everyone has there own oppion on what makes a better rig. You just have to go with what you think suits your best, your the one with the money, and power to get what you like. Pluse saying a lst can run circles around a hellfire isnt much because I have a revo that will run circles around an lst at my track so its just what you like and what works for you.

Bryson that one was mostly for rccars411. But it has more to do with driver ability then anything other. Not saying I'm a pro drive(actually I suck bad), but I'm better than him.

The T-maxx is not quite as durable as others like the Savage, Revo, or LST in a bashing type use. As a racer it's even worse. Ask any T-maxx owner on here and they will tell ya it's a money pit.

gangsta, i see most of your posts so far are that of a tmaxx cheerleader....thats cool & you have every right, you love your truck...but most here are not impressed with its durability..

your probily going to have a hard life here defending the maxx daily lol

:\ i no its becouse i just bourt a tmaxx and every ones saying its weak it really makes me feel like poop so I'm trying to defend it :depress:
