I was looking at the new HPI Hellfire, in comparison to the LSP. Are these the same thing.

I was told that hotbodies, and HPI are essentially the same company.

Why does everyone think that HPI makes different brands of Rc's? HPI makes HPI's. Why would they make a different brand to compete with themselves?? I'm gonna guess that the person who told ya Hot bodies and Hpi are the same company are the same type of people who ask about Nos and superchargers.

I have heard alot about hpi and hotbodies being connected. I am sure that they have a same owners. As for 4U2nv I guess would could ask your self this, doent dodge and plymouth do that?
Dodge neon and plymouth neon.

Thats 1:1's and there going to be at the same Dealership. So there not really competeing against each other. Anyway the plymouth neon is a even lower end of a Dodge neon isnt it? Dont ya think if they were connected they would have the adds together? Like the how Plymouth and Dodge does? Or if ya went to a HPI stand at a show, they would have Hotbodies stuff there too? I mean if they are both owned by the same company, wouldnt they try to sell them both as equally hard? But anyway, why would a company like Hpi make a whole different class of Rc's? Wouldnt make to much sense to me I guess. but whatever I guess..

Must have been recently huh? I never heard anything. I know some companies will buy out another company and just to eliminate some of the comp, but to have 2 different names from one company sounds dumb to me. In the rc game anyway. With Cars is different because they can have them all on the same lot, so theres no real advantages over another one.

Hot Bodies has been owned by the same guy that owns HPI for several years. It was about six months ago they moved into HPI's building to consolidate shipping and what not.

I have a graphite upper deck from Hot Bodies for my RS4 that's probably a year old and in the Japanese part of the instructions you can clearly see the HPI Racing logo (probably referring to warranty or service address)...

So you see, while they are under the same roof and under same ownership, they make different product lines. Does HPI make an electric Savage? No, but Hot Bodies has their electric monster truck.

I always figured they were associated somehow cause of the driver sponsorships and what some of these guy are running. Hara is the main guy I'm thinking of.

they were pretty separate up until the release of the LSP....HB couldn't keep up w/ demand for it, I guess they didn't theink it would be as big of a hit as it is......

hpi and hot bodies are owned by the same ppl but they seperatly make there own trucks and sell as such ,just that HB is the sister company
just like sprint and nextel merged and made 1 company
