  1. Bashing
Ok first of my car problems.
1. My rc18mt just got done with the rebuild, put in the battery and turned it on. For some reason now the stering wheel moves the car and the throttle trigger moves the wheels. I looked at the book and can't find anything about this. The little buttons on the back do noting either.
2. I was wondering if the bottom of the line http://www.hobbypeople.net/gallery/751610.asp Radio like this would work for all my cars. And beings its synthesized do i have to buy those expensive recivers. And will the stock servos that come with it run my revo or my ntc3.
3. I'm redoing my buddies sportmaxx and was wondering if when the servo twitch when at wot if this means the servo was fried.

Thanks for your time,
Bryson.

On the receiver, swap the servo cables in their positions, steering with throttle and vice versa. After that, you may have to reverse the servo directions on your transmitter if the wheels turn the opposite way or if the car lurches backward when you pull the trigger.

If the servo twitches at WOT, the end point might not set correctly. The epa limits the servo travel, dial it down until the twitching goes away, but still opens the carb fully at WOT on the transmitter. If it still twitches, check for rubbing of the linkages.

The MX-3 is a fine radio and will work with both digital and analog servos in your cars. Synthesized receivers normally cost a little more than non-synthesized receivers.

Oh jeez... you did it now... Might as well look for a new ride. Sorry to hear that bro...

lol.. switch the servo leads on the receiver. You must have crossed them during your rebuild..

Gosh darnit. I've done this I gess i wasent thinking about it at the time. I think for my bday I'm going to get the mx-3+one more synthazized revicer, will the servos work or not. When you go to a track do you have to have one of those though or can you run crystals? Thanks for your time.

That's the beauty of a synthesized system, it is crystal-less. When you hit the track, there should be a channel board with clips on them. You will be assigned a channel that is not in use and with the synthesized system, it is just a matter of dialing in that channel on your transmitter and receiver. At a crowded track, if you have a crystal based system, you can be SOL if you arrive and your channel is already taken. Sometimes people will loan you a crystal to use or you can take turns using the same channel but by having the synthesized system, it will save you from those headaches. It's not as foolproof as say the DSM systems but it's a nice upgrade over the crystal based setups.
