OK so, i had 2 hpi stadium trucks. 1 rush evo and 1 rush. the rush i gave up on as i couldnt get it running so sent it back to the guy i got it from for a refund.

my parts for my rushh evo came yesterday (broke another axle) got the part in now it doesn't want to run right. it bogs down when i go WOT, guessing the glow plug is starting to fail as it acts like it can't handle all the fuel its getting and i have tuned and retuned a billion times.

ill have like $80 bucks in a few days so I'm thinking ill just get another motor/carb. thing is i dont know what will work with this truck, also i dont want anything that has much more power then the t-15 thats in it right now. dont want the tranny gears going out.

any help with this would be great!

Does your engine have good compression? Did you seal it? What's the temps? These are a few things to consider before giving up on an engine. More often than not, if you have compression, you have a good engine.

Those engines have horrible carbs. It's not possible to tune it correctly, no true LSN.
Buy a O.S. .12 or .15. Check out towerhobbies, they list what fits your car.

^^Yep, spot on Scroog. I gave up on my .15FE and bought a new (at the time) OS .15 CV-RX. Way more consistent for tuning, and was a hot small block in it's day.

Hell, I'd run one of those on my old Maxx if I found one with the right price. I've only heard good things about them engines. The name says it all.

its got great compression, i dont have a temp gun but before it started bogging down, i ran like half a tank threw it an spit on the heat sink, it sizzled and evaporated really quick. maybe 2 to 3 seconds.

is it possible the plug is going failing? i dont have another plug to test right now. it will be a few days before i can get some

all i keep hearing is mixed feelings about it. some say there awesome and others say there crap.

OS is one of the more highly thought of brands of engines. I have heard almost nothing bad about them.

From my experience's when my firestorm bogs at WOT it has always been to lean on the hi speed screw, all i do is back it out about 1/4 of a turn and it goes fine. Any carb without a low speed screw is not worth the time IMO.
