  1. Bashing
Has anyone tried using a spool lock in the center diff. The front wheels pull much hard then the rear causing very fast tread wear on the front tires. I use the truck for bashing. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

You can always use Plumbers putty in the diff, that will definitely stiffen it up.

Also the diff could be dry, or have verry light oil in it, I wouldn't lock it!...the plumbers puddy is a nice trick, still allows some verry slight movement

LOL I'm actually a plumber but I think I'm gonna stay away from that idea. The diff is full with grease. I have some 500k diff fluid I'm gonna try. Its a lot thicker than the grease is think that should work. anyways thanks for the idea.

I would definitely take the grease out and run the thick oil, problem with the grease is the gears actually just cut their way through, where as the oil moves around
