Hey guys, got another question- You can thank my new T-maxx for all my posts recently.


I am looking for a standard Receiver mount, to place where the box would go on the stocker. I just want something simple, that I can screw down to the two existing holes and that will leave the unit out for easy access.

I have seen some that have a cool little thumb operated clamping device of some sort and I would REALLY like to get something like that, my antennas keep falling off and ruining receivers.

In the past, I have used double-sided tape to secure my receiver to whatever mount I had for it, I would also like to stop doing this.

Basicly I want something with a small footprint that is very secure in design. If anyone has any ideas they would be greatly appreciated.

Something with a smaller foot print most likely won't mount to the two existing holes. You could always use just the base from a stock mount, or one of the RC Raven servo boxes if you want one in a different color, but you would still need to use double sided tape. Fast Eddy sells the best kind of double sided tape if you do go that route...

Then use an antenna mount like the Ofna or integey one to keep your antenna tube securely attached.

Ya, I have two or three rolls of Eddy's tape in my pit box at all times, it works for almost anything. I suppose taping the receiver to the chassis isn't going to hurt too much, the tape really does a good job of holding. then I can just screw the adapter you mentioned into one of the pre-drilled holes and rout the wire through it... NICE!

No problem at all.

That will work just fine, those antenna holders work great, I have one on my PCR Pro, and the antenna has never pulled out of it.

I just prefer to keep my receiver covered, it helps keep dirt out of it.

I always use receiver boxes and I don't tape the receiver to anything. It's always in a balloon...

I like the little antenna clamp, but I also like the receiver box as it allows you to wrap the receiver in a balloon and also wrap it in foam to absorb shock/vibrations.
