I am looking for a decent buggy...1/8 nitro. Not a beginner buggy but not real expensive. Maybe around $500 or so, What do you suggest? Mainly for bashing...possibly a little racing.

They have released an 8ight 3.0, so do what I did, and pick up a secondhand 8ight 2.0. 95% of the 3.0 and 2.0 parts are the same.

The Losi 8ight is a great ill car.

They are built tuff, and are competitive on the track.

I just picked up an mbx7 from eBay. It included an rb s5 engine and some nice servos. I installed an extra Rx and battery pack, threw on some buggy wheels and tires and now I have a running buggy. The car must have been sitting a very long time due to the amount of gummed up fuel in the tank, filter and engine but I was able to clean it up successfully run it yesterday at the track. I have $400 into the whole deal.
