I am looking for a recharable battery pack for the mp777, but what will fit and work? I have the m8 radio if that helps.

I have a 6v 1800mah flat pack that I will give you if you simply pay for shipping on it ($2). The only thing wrong w/ it is that it could use a new protective shrink wrap around it. I know tower has some battery shrink wrap for only a couple of bucks.

I know that it won't fit in your battery compartment. But you can strap it to the top of it. Here are the dimensions: 2.48" L x 1.77" W x 0.43" H
Simply cut out a piece of paper 2.5" x 1.75" and see if it will work for you.

Just let me know if you want it.

Later.....

I use a flat 7v lithium pack, gotto buy the lithium charger though, u can buy it together for about 100 NZD, so probably about 66 us dollars, this battery is awesome just never goes flat, and only takes 20 minutes to charge anyway

mike what rate are you chargin you Li at? and is it Lion or Lipo? the wrong charging method on lith batteries can be disasterous.

i havent tried them in my cars yet, but i love em in my micro-heli.

Charging at 1000ma on a lithium Ion polymer charger, things are great, prolux make them batery and 12v charger, very convenient, oh and chraging meathod is li-po

ok cool. ill have to try out a lion or 2. i have a lipo capable charger already so thats not an issue. what do you do to regulate the voltage down to 6V? because 2 lithium cells of either type are still 7.6-7.4V. i would be afraid that would damage the radio system.

well...... um i dont but you can buy a resitor type setup off the shelf that just plugs in line with you batery, i like the extra grunt from the servos runninig 7v but you do seem to blow the odd one :( specially the cheaper range servos, but i get a fare run outta them, it doesn't seem to affect the receiver at all
