Buy the XT60's with the covers, and put you some heat shrink on the wires coming out of the holes. They hold up just fine. I starting using those after I made these.
No I was asking @WickedFog specifically what wire this is that he is using to build these.

The wire comes pre crimped onto the JST PH 2.0 for the SCX24 connectors and mini molex connectors for the FMS stuff the OP is asking about. Just like in the video I shared. If that's not what you are referring to then I guess I am confused what you are asking 🤷‍♂️

You could buy just the connectors and solder on whatever wire you want, but the wires those connectors I linked come with (26 awg I believe) are plenty fine for the small LiPo's these little trucks use. <1A, and 26awg should easily handle up to 2A.

I make my own charging cables. You don't need thick wire the current is reality low and 12-14 AWG will work fine. Silcone Wire, it's much nicer work with and makes the cable easier to use.

As others have said extended balances are VERY helpful. It also helps you from damaging the leads on your battery.

Here’s the set up so far….added some extension cables and made a couple of adapters. Big thanks for all the advice folks!
