Sorry, kid. I’m trying to help you out but this is as low as I can go. I understand if it’s too expensive. Something else will probably pop up in your price range. Just keep your eyes open. Good luck to you.
I think he might have been referring to the guitar🤣

Yeah I meant the Guitar lol

Yeah I get it. Still thinking about it, are those Reedy combos good? @Littlemotor seems to think so.

You absolutely will never find a better deal, and on better electronics than what he’s offered you. And they’re “take-off’s”; I.E.-brand new.

And yes; Reedy electronics are top tier stuff, even in RTR offerings.. Been a bigdog name since the early 1980’s when I was winning races with them in my OG RC10. Not even in the same league as TRX, Arrma, or Spektrum. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Haha gotcha.

From what I gather , they're made by HobbyWing for Associated. Thats about all I know. I do recall the name Reedy being around @ 20 years ago. Probably longer.

I’m tempted to put it in our Rustler XL5 in place of the Titan brushed motor.

Yes-correct. Same with the vast majority of Aftermarket electric stuff today aside from Tekin, Castle, TP, etc.. Reedy, Reds, Trinity, Revtech, Fantom, and Maclan are all made for them to their specs by Hobbywing. I’m sure there are more I’m unaware of, as those were just off the top of my head..😅

Back in 1987 , I remember my Sears Lobo2 had a Mabuchi motor (I think the size was a 360 but I’m not sure). Was Mabuchi a low-grade motor manufacturer? Just curious.
They were just your average mass production RTR outfit. Kind of like Mikuni is to small carburetor’s. Early to late 80’s Tamiya 1/10 vehicles were always supplied with Mabuchi 540 cans.

Yokomo actually produced a TON of the aftermarket cans-even though they were stickered/advertised as other manufacturers. 😉

Mabuchi makes the titan 12t. Or ddid.i found alot of their products in stuff I've taken apart too.

The first round of SC600-BL ESCs are basically lower tier nonadjustable versions of Hobbywing's WP 10BL60 RTR speed controls.

Even with Hobbywing branded 👆👆 RTR speed controls you could adjust the running mode, drag brake, LVC, punch, and brake force. With a Reedy SC600-BL... a person is only able to adjust NiMh/LiPo usage. 🤨

Now, with the new Reedy SC600-BL2 ESCs, you can adjust the same parameters as above.

What kv are you wanting? 540, or 550 sized motor?

Great plan.
