Great, they appear to be aluminum, they won't spark. Take the next step and build a roll bar to attach to them...I mean, as long as you are fabricating.

Oops my bad your rite.. nice call. But hell yea thats a good idea. Nice thinking man.. building a roll bar would look sweet on it...👍👍
 
Nice job man!! 👍👍 I would grind down or cut off the extra steem.. unless you did it. That way for sparks if it slides on roof?? 👍👍
I can slide them down just the same at stock ones, don't have to cut. I left em out for sparks and it protects the body a bit more.
 
But they are aluminum correct? If so they won't spark. Unless you add some type of cap to them.. the aluminum is to soft to spark... but awesome idea
