If you want to stay close to 6V check out LiFe (or LiFePO) batteries. If you want to power a HV 7.4V servo then any 2S lipo will do. Just check dimensions on the pack before you buy it to make sure it will fit where you want to pu tit and make sure you RX is capable of handling the extra voltage of a lipo. Any brand will do for an RX pack.

yeah i saw the lifE-po packs..I'm not familiar w/them so wasn't quite sure if those were what i was looking for.. i'm running the stock servos w/ the tq 5 ch 2.4ghz rx. so, if they're rated @6v...thats what i'll get. thanks for the reply & the info!
much appreciated!.

If you want to play it safe look into a BEC while you're at it. Something that is 6V or is adjustable to 6V that way you dont go over 6V. LiFes will give you about 6.8V when fully charged which really shouldnt be an issue but you can never be to careful.
