so i recently picked up a sc10 to run with my dads sc10, we had some great fun and then i put mine away early becaue i had to leave while he continued to race around. well... i was in a hurry and didnt unplug the lipo.

went to charge it the other day and boom bang dead whoping 0 on the meeter.

but the guys down at the hobby shop were able to revive it with a nickle battery, and then fully charge it normally. it seems to work with only a slightly more resistance. pretty darned happy how it ended up. but from now on I'm not in so much a hurry to not unplug the battery lol.

Yeah I've done that before. My IRs went from about 5 to more like 40 but the pack firmed up again, charged, and works just fine again. Granted the higher IRs will mean shorter life span in the long haul but at least its not a total loss! :)

you'se managed to charge it back up after reading 0V on the meter. I think i would of just ditched it, than tried to revive it. I've brought a pack up from 2.8V per cell, but it didn't like it.

it takes a full charge still, but when i brought it into the hobby shop it wouldnt even power on the meter. I'm guessing they used a really nice charger to charge it after getting it up enough to charge. nicer than mine at least.

any time i get out of this battery is great, even if it only can handle a few more full charges before going.

not at all, they fixed the battery and had it fully charged for me later that same day. I'm sure they had it hooked up right, just like I'm sure i tried to charge it correctly and it woudlnt even apear as plugged in..
