Hey everybody...
So I was thinking about upgrading my lipo battery storage to make it safer than just the generic bags. I started looking at fireproof safes and found they are actually cheaper than the lipo battery chests made for rc batteries. I paid $139.00 for one that will probably hold 20 or so lipos depending on size. I'll probably drill some holes in it for venting. I'll feel a little safer with this.
Just passing this on anyone that might like this manner of storage.
I'll post a picture once I get it set up.

I'm looking at doing something similar, although I'm thinking of going one step further and tying a smoke detector to a high CFM vent fan so that if it triggers it immediately starts pulling air out of the room.

We had a small fire in our basement when I was younger that created a lot of smoke. The entire house had to be emptied, cleaned, and painted, and everything that wasn't in a closed drawer had a film on it.
