What it took to build this one of a kind Crawler with Full independent suspension and 4 wheel steering. Ultra low gearing having a LOT of ground clearance and Large suspension travel. 6 months and counting being very methodical in every area of the mechanics. As an Ex machinist and commercial mechanic, doing all the little tricky stuff is where the fun lies & it has been FUN !!!

Arrma Kraton G2 belly pan to build upon.
Custom built 31mm differentials ( Open ) tho filled with a putty/lube paste ( THICK !!! )
CVD axles on all 4
*Modified suspension yielding more travel and a taller static height. * Front spec shock towers & GPM shocks W/ ARRMA H.D. springs at both ends.
*Machined aluminum upper A-arms F/R for wheel torque rigidity / low flex.
*Custom Extended / Higher leverage steering plates on axle housings.
*Rear end rock guard protecting rear shocks & Inner body CF rods to stiffen it.
H.D. steering racks and servo savers F/R
Powerhobby 760HV "F" & 9IMOD 45kg "R" are steering it.
BASTENS Quad steer module with 4 transmitter controlled programmable steering modes.
*HW 10A UBEC taking power battery direct to both servos ( 6-7.4-8.4V selective )
7600mah 4S for primary battery powering every thing.
*9IMOD Outrunner 14 pole / 12 slot "Crawler" spec 1/10 scale brushless into a 17-1 planetary gearbox ( 23/46 geared at center diff )
Temp sensing Fan on motor, low speed Fan on ESC.
*Huge wheel/tire combo with AXIAL SCX6 wheels and Pro-Line "HYRAX XL" tires ( 7.28" tall x 2.75 wide )
Lead shot added to wheels inner hub and taped over.
*Additional BRASS weights added to front axle housings.
*Adapted 6S SENTON body custom painted and heat folded / bent for clearances.
Custom Rear A-arm steering block to square up steering and differential alignment ( No rear kickup as front has )

*Running a OEM BLX185 ESC ... shopping for a crawler specific ESC to get the instant reverse feature and more Drag brake options.

Challenges while doing ...
Lots of fabrication and pre-thought bringing it all together ( Been over 6 months building )
Getting differentials to be just shy of spool like locked, yet able to turn w/o pushing.
Testing outrunner motor and gearbox combo for sufficient power/torque finding it more than enough for the task at hand.
Rear wheel steering utilizing front end parts at the rear & adjusting/aligning it all getting correct function as a FWS rig.

* Below a few pictures of notable modifications to bring it together.

Custom rear/upper steering block to square up the a-arm pins between shock tower.
* Using a Front steering assembly that by design works around the belly plate/chassis having a kick up and rear of belly pan being flat, there was some geometry corrections needing to get worked threw. This along with some shims between Top plate to diff housing also done.

Now finished up we're tipping the Scale at a tad above 16 1/2 pounds RTR
Ground clearance a Max static of 4 1/2 inches
