Let's not copy-paste AI generated text to this forum

I'm on this forum to ask other people in the RC hobby about their individual real-world experiences. The variety of replies, contradicting opinions, and anecdotal stories are all part of what I'm here for.

If I wanted an AI to scrape the first dozen forum posts that contain the words "storage charge" and spit out a sloppy approximation of the average opinion, I can do so myself instantly and for free.

So let's not copy someone's genuine question into Bing, and then paste back the AI-generated drivel as a reply.

I'm not opposed to AI, I use it frequently for technical subjects. The fact that I can give ChatGPT a component's .pdf datasheet and ask it detailed questions is amazing. But presenting AI-generated content as a user-written reply is unpleasant and dilutes the quality of the discussion.

I may be exaggerating the "problem', I've just noticed it a few times on questions that were kind of technical and specific in a way that would benefit from an experienced answer, and so the regurgitation of general knowledge by an AI was particularly low-value in terms of adding anything to the discussion.
