Here is a copy of the latest Paypal scam email. The link shown will actually take you to paypal. But if you click it in the email, it sends you some place else that looks like paypal. Don't be fooled.

Dear member,

Me too, about five or six times. I just forward it to [email protected] and let them look at it. I figure if they can find some sort of clue as to where it came from why not. Funny thing, I get half of them on an e-mail address I don't even have on file with pp.

Yeah, I always tell everyone, just mouse over the link, don't click it, and look at the status bar. You'll see through it easily.

Phishermen give fishermen a bad name. :D

i got it and gave my account info like an butthead :(

I have gotten that email about 5 times... I always check the link before i click it... Its just habit.

Always remember that a valid Paypal mail will have your name on the greeting, not "Dear Paypal Member" or something like that. And they only go to the email addy that you registered your account with. I get them at other addys so I know right away they're fake.

I never did click it, i was just saying, i check before even think about clicking it. I know the dangers of not typing the link manually, and wont make that mistake again!
