The bash Sky and I were planning to do last week which kind of petered out due to snow and cold for last week was definately accomplished today. We arrived at the track just after noon and didn't leave until about 4 or so. Needless to say we did have a great deal of fun.

MOST IMPORTANT, I was not the first to break anything! The only casualties I actually had for the entire day was a lost lug nut for my inferno and a pulled out pull cord on my storm. That's it! Yes the master of disaster did not have a disaster. My roommate on the other hand broke an a-arm, and 2 shocks. Sky got his buggy broken in and dailed in however, he did shatter a bulkhead on his savage and broke his pull start on his t-maxx, again.

Just a taste to start things off here are sme pics taken from a video I shot of Sky, they are sequencial so you can figure out the rest. I'll post more later but these little gems ought to be the first.

Thanks again, I'll forward the doctor bills.

:D :D

For the record, I was aiming at him. AND I hit him dead on. Now, I only owe him one more shot...

As for the buggy, it isn't quite dialed in; but today was a nice start.

I dunno it seems that all the sweetest bashes have happened this weekend...maybe its just me. Abnout your pull start El, you can put a Roto start from a Savage 21 and it will fit. no more riped cords, i remember how irritating it was putting it back in.

I know, I know, you were aiming for me. Instead of a roto start I am thinking about just getting a starter box and doing away with the pull starts completely. Here's my favorite shot thus far of Sky's buggy from video, man the editing is actually work.
I'll post more as I get them but here's another, check out all the dirt flying as Sky tries to hit me yet again...

And now, you know why it takes so long to get videos up on the net.

Keep the pictures coming.

Sweeet pics. I'm starting to think about what to do next weekend. Just kiddiing. I think the rides need some rest and a little TLC. At least my Savage needs time for me to buy new bulkheads and a fuel tank. The T-Maxx has made it's last ride. I have decided to part it out or sell it as a roller. The buggy...that thing is indestructible. The only damage sustained during break in was a dinged up wing.

Looks like u guys had alot of fun. Wish I had a track like that around here. Nice pics El and thanx for putting up pics instead of video or I would have had to wait forever to see it.

looks like you guys had a lot of fun. OMFG EP didn't break his RC's first???

and on another note I'm sure this has been answered before but did you get rid of your MT's el???

I sold my savage and am going to sell my t-maxx as soon as I get off my butt and sell it.

LMFAO...

Nice video. I wonder who was driving that flying object.

As for transition to the darkside...not really going all the way over. I just figure I'm going to need money for the parts I plan on breaking on the buggy.

BTW, the two pull starts you needed rebuilt are done. New strings in each. Re-wound the springs in each. Took me about an hour for both.

Those are really nice pictures. Last bash the pictures were taken early with "big air" captions and the cars were 1 foot off the gorund, lol. Those pictures were great. Now thats showing air. I got some for you when my cousin gets them on the net.

Pirata was on drugs when he captioned the last batch of images from last week. If you read the thread, I commented to the effect that I would be happy just calling it air vice big air or major air.

This weekend, we were certainly able to put some air and distance under the buggies. The MTs broke too early into the day (my Savage and T-Maxx both went on their first tank...the Savage burned a full tank and the T only about 1/3 of a tank).

Once the buggy is completely dialed in, we will be seeking some open terrain to shoot some MAJOR AIR type footage...
