Guys before you go and blow all kinds of money at tower, check out www.ultimatehobbies.com if they don't have what your looking for on their web site call them i guarentee that they will blow tower's prices out of the water! I got my hyper 7 pcr for 433 as compared to tower's over 500. now thats just my .02

I just got rid of my Ofna 9.5 pro and went with the K3. You can tell the difference in quality and handling. I would not spend 1700 for one becouse I am 1-2 a month racer. But if you watch ebay and the hobby shops you can find a good deal. I did get lucky and pick mine up used with RB 5port, Airtronics servos(metal high torque) and the buggy was in great shape! As for the cheaper buggies, if you are a basher, pay close attention on if your LHS has spare parts, not much fun waiting a week for parts to come in.

Is the K3 even worth 700$ just for the KIT ?!?!?!?!?!
Hell yes! I have a Kanai 1 and a Kanai 3 and I love them both. I have beat the hell out of both of them and they asked for more.

As far as getting tires, check e-bay. I have bought dozens of new tires off e-bay with rims included on most of them.

I will say that the Kanai's are worth the money but some of the less expensive kits out there can definately hold their own.

I am stoked about my Lightningright now, since I did a little work on it, and had an awsome day driving yesterday. Sometimes everything is perfect, and it doesn't matter what brand you are driving as long as you are having fun.
