Knock off 550 motors?

Well guys, I fried one of my titans. I was looking around for some new motors, and these showed up: http://cgi.ebay.com/2-Motors-550-Si...095154685QQcategoryZ44028QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

They look an awful lot like titans, I wonder if they are the same, just without the traxxas tag? They say they will fit, and work with 14.4 volts.

Anyone tried these? Feedback? It would be about $30 cheaper overall than buying titans.

They look like they would work, but I am a firm believer that you get what you pay for. If you are looking to stay stock I would just pony up the $24 that Traxxas sells them for, and get a new titan. Just my opinion though.

I ordered 4 of them with 20 capacitors just now. I am going to give them a try, if they work it will be awesome. Plus I will have 2 extras.

Well I ordered my motors for $3.75 a piece and here they are. Others say that theirs were slightly longer than titans, maybe the previous owner of my emaxx bought these also? They seem almost the exact same.

Yup, thats what I say. However another guy showed me some other motors that are 3-24vdc vs. mine which are 6-12vdc. They are the exact same except voltage acceptance, and the 24v can is longer. The 24v also has a higher rpm at 12vdc.
