I installed a new spur gear on the MGT, and it seems to thin??
Anybody else ever had this happen?
I have everything installed like it is supposed to be. It isn't my first dance with a new spur gear.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Adrian

No, the slipper hubs are not gripping it tight enough.
The motor is going to spin the gear, but it isn't going to drive the tranny.

are you saying you're running out of adjustment threads on the tensioner nut? Can you shim it (from the far side of the slipper) with more washers?
