It's looking REALLY good. I've never seen one in real, but so far that looks like a very serious piece of machinery.
Was that 600 for the kit only without an engine?

Yes. You don't even get tires. \No servo's either.

No pic's today. Didn't have time to wrench on it.
(that was for Team17 and cvec7)

Wow, that's steep, but if the old adage holds true, you get what you pay for.
RTR it would probably be about $1500, but give me ANYTHING in a kit. I just LOVE to build.

Here is the latest. I put in the radio box, servo's, servo deck, gas tank, personal transponder mount, etc. Waiting on the friggin engine!!!
Distributor back order.

I want that SO bad that not even your sig of Don Ratzo, Godfather is enough to scare off this native New Yorker. Put in an alarm system.
All kidding aside, that's REALLY a beautiful piece of work. When we get together to bash, it will be putting me to shame. Keep those photos coming.

Rolex, I thank you for your kind words.
The pic's will keep coming. I had to stop. The K3 dosen't even come with servo horns.
I want to get good ones so i'll pick them up tomorrow.
I'm also waiting for my Kanai engine to get here from the distributor.
I put in for throttle, Airtronics 94737 . And for steering 94357.
It's what I had laying around, so thats what I used.
I will be putting JR digital servo's soon!

I don't see any progress! What the hell have u been doing?! lol

Keep a running total of what it required. I'd like to know what the final cost amounts to. Boy, what a beauty. I can't wait to drive over the top of it with my trusty old Tmaxx.

Only if that rusty old maxx is still running after I roll over it with my Monster GT.
LOL

Final costs for my K2 went like this:
K2 = 469$ (Ultimatehobbies.com on sale)
RB WS7-2 = 309$
Starterbox Ofna 10253 = 75$
Tires, 1 Servo, fuel, accessories, aluminium servo horn for steering and other small crap = 200$
Batteries for tx and rx = 60$

Total: 1113$

I already had a remote control with some servos, so i used that for throttle and braking.

I heard the new osvzb is a killer engine. Alot of the guys at the worlds were running that engine and they were competitive. I haven't had a personal experience with the new os, but the vz-01b is a kick ass screamer. OS had a hard time with their last few .21 comp engines, but i think they got it right this time with the new vz.

Ya, I'm still trying to decide on what one. do yo have a site for the WS7II?
