Picked up a Jato 3.3 for $150 and was wanting to hear about any regular problems or anything to watch out for. I haven't ran it yet but I am pretty sure my rc10gt and Firestorm are history.

keep it on the road and you will be fine!!!!!!!!!!
you will never get rid of the rc10gt
i have jato's 2.5 and a 3.3 also but i still love my rc10gts i have 6 of them, that was my first car and i will keep it forever.
here is a thought for you before you get rid of the rc10gt,drop a OS18 in it and you will not want to get rid if it.its awesome

if it is stock the brakes are just barely fair. get hot racings sjt39ds duel brake kit. then replace the spring on the brake with an aluminum tube, .125 o.d. .095 i.d. about .600 in long.

Get some Pro Line Road Rage tires for it.They hook up good and wear ok too. The frontones on my jato are going to last a long timecu they are never on the ground and I have a 2.5 in mine!

Personally, I like running 1/8 buggy tires/wheels. Gives it a bit more ground clearance for when your running in grass. You can find 17mm adapters from hot racing. I bought mine from new era, not sure if they still make them though.

Brake mod, Brake mod, Brake mod!!!! within 2 post break in tanks I had broken 3 control arms and two tie rods due to crashes caused solely my massive brake fade. I ordered an aftermarket brake kit but before it arrived I stumbled on the (tubing instead of spring mod) and it worked so superbly that I threw new brake setup in spare parts box.
