Just got a new phone :D

My parents decided that they would get me a cell phone today and one of the free ones was the LG Vu. This thing is pretty sweet

I've got one. I like it except for the TV doesn't work anywhere where I would use it. FYI, don't attempt any of the hacks you can find on the net. They will screw up your phone bad! I went through 2 before I stopped. It was pretty cool for a couple of weeks though.

Right now I'm on the first month "everything works" period, after that I'm hoping to at least get the data plan and possibly the text thing. I'm not really a big texter but I'm really into I'm and the internet, which is included in the data plan.

Charlie, have you found any downloadable interfaces or themes? I'd like to see what else is out there. Also, have you found the USB cord in any stores?

I got my USB at the AT&T store but I've heard you can buy them on the bay a lot cheaper. As far as the themes and interfaces http://www.lg-vu.com/index.php . Be super careful though. I did the expanded interface and the slide theme and it worked awesome for a couple of weeks then I woke up one morning and my phone was bricked. If you try and it works for a whole month let me know.

I was able to get a data plan for my iPhone for $10. It was an add-on to the family plan though. I'm pretty sure it should work on the Vu if it works on the iPhone. Ask AT&T to make sure though.
