Hey guys Thanks for noticing......

I just bought a used GS storm today, man its fast. I had to ask, It busts out on extreme top end. Is it running lean or rich or what?

Runs like a scalded dog until upper RPM range then starts busting out and if you stay in gas it will shut off.

Besides that, man this thing aint no joke.

Its all stock, I'm sure its an RTR kit but I got a sweet deal, ($200 with 2 and thats 2 junior radios, and two sets of servos. Glow igniter Gallon of fuel etc.

And also, I want to hop this beeotch up, I see a ton of stuff on ebay for them but they look like factory or replacement parts. Is there anywhere I can go to view hop up parts like Carbon fiber stuff aluminum stuff etc.

Thanks again!

The B01 is really underrated! It's a quick little engine!

When you say "blows out" do you mean it starts to die, or fade out, the longer you hold the throttle open? If this happens, it's usually caused by the high end needle set to lean. The engine isn't getting enough gas flow to keep the high RPM's once it uses up all the gas in the carb. Richen it up, just a little bit. It should fix your problem.

Of course, adjusting your high end screw can end up having adverse effects on your idle and low end screw. But if you don't have to turn it much, you'll be all set.

As far as hopups, you can find a listing of some of them right on the gs racing site. Also, most Storm Pro parts will be hopups for you, as the storm pro has almost all the hopups you'll want. Dynamite makes hinge pin blocks and center diff assemblies, Hardcore Racing makes chassis, plates, and shock towers out of titanium for the storm, and Fioroni (distributed by GS) makes some of the really cool (and really expensive) hopups like aluminum C hubs and the rear bulkhead brace.

Horizon Hobby has almost all the GS parts you'd ever need, except for the fact that they are out of stock on most of it right now. But horizon is a good place to get stuff, they don't put a high markup on anything and they ship fast (when they have stock.)

Hope this helps.
