Which engine is good thats not too expensive.

I just bought a tt-01 chassis car.

Also something fast so I can drift

I'm not up on onroad cars so i dont know the "tt-01" but if its has options then what options.

Under 120

Fast yet durable

Want to race later.

Can tune moderalty

Low center of gravity and 4-wheel double wishbone suspension insure top control. The tightly sealed gearboxes feature differential gears that provide smooth cornering.

Tamiya Hop-Up Options for TT01 series Chassis

How are the RS-540 Sport Tuned Motors
.

Yo, i have a tt-01 tamiya chassis too, the best kind of motor(in my oppinion) is the Speed Gems 7turn double wind Cryptonite motor

i just got it 3 days ago and it was about 40$

its a 7 turn so you knows its gonna be greased lightning and it works with the stock tamiya ESC....

i got 6 mins of run time with my old school Sanyo 1200mah batts, i havent tryed it with my 3000s yet

oh yeah for drifting i go with the tamiya stock silver can motor with pvc pipe pressed on the rims, it works great

How is the Sport Tuned Tamiya motor? Like a off the shelf RS540S with a bit more nerve.I purchased one just for kicks to see how it performs.

You better get a Trinity Monster Horsepower stock,it outperforms these "Sport Tuned" Tamiya motors with ease.

Hmm if that questions for me... "i donno"..lol....when i got the kit from Hobby town, it came with a silver can motor, i know it wasn't the Speed Tuned one tho

The stock esc can handle a 7 turn? WHAAA , Pretty sure the ESC will not handle a 7t :2cents:

A stock Tamiya ESC that handles 7 turn motors! It will fail that is a sure thing.

These cheapie ESC's are designed to handle 19 turn and up motors.Any low turn(14T and down)will tax severly the budget tamiya ESC.

Unless a tiny pinion is used and car never pushed too hard, and even then.

You want to use low turn motors get the proper ESC

lol....it works.... and its fast......i have a temp sensor or mine tho...and it shuts it down

yeah..i know about the winds and what you should use but.....i live dangerously..lmao
