Well, just last night bought a Jato 3.3 off of eBay! :D I picked it up, basically brand new. He said it has only been broken in and all settings are still at factory and hasn't been crashed at all. Only 6 tanks through it. I got it for $232.50. I've had my Rustler for a good while now, so, what can I expect with this new Jato? Besides more power and speed. :P What are gonna' be some parts that I should look into upgrading? Not necessarily performance wise, but for example, new front arms. It should be here sometime this week, so like I said, if anyone can give me a run down of what to expect out of this, It'd be greatly appreciated. :D

in my experience, they are kind of fragile. Look at RPM arms all the way around as well as an RPM front bumper. P.S. Start out slow, it's crazy fast, and never run it without the wheelie bar.

Have Fun

build a ramp in front of your house and launch be sure to have a bud video it.

I have had mine for about a year and a half and all I have ever broken is front tie links. So far (watch this get me in trouble) I have never broken an A-arm or anything else. But as Brad said above start slow!.....they are very fast a squirrely a hell.

Yeah make sure its high enough to ensure damage after clearing the house and landing in the neighbours yard.;) Cause thats the best way to treat a new car.

In case you did'nt notice that was sarcasm.
Have fun with it, i've alays wanted a Jato myself.

Thanks for all the replies. :D I am going to looking into purchasing some front and rear arms, most likely RPM, and also I've been reading the shock towers aren't the greatest. As for the wheelie bar, it comes mandatory with it. I believe this is the newest model, and like I said, never crashed.

That's it^^

Well, it came today. Excellent condition, took it out, and it started right up! Now, after running it up and down my street, I don't know if it's that not I'm not used to it or the tires suck, but when I hit the breaks, all it does is spin around. Haha, and on take offs, they tend to lose traction a lot? I almost lost all of my tread already. And in the grass? Yeah, that's not happening with this thing. :hehe:

I was out today, racing around a parking lot with some of the guys down at the local hobby shop and others, and ended up breaking a front left A-Arm. Haha, hit a little bump in the parking lot, knocked me to the side and into the curb. Luckily, that was all. So, i ordered front RPM A arms. :D

Yeah, I've got the hang of it now. Plus, like said above, warmer weather=better tire traction.

My dad has a T Maxx, and the stock tires, the one with ridiculous tread, don't do well on the road, at all. haha

Ya I know I have a t-maxx and my dad has a nitro evader well soon to have(its in the mail come monday). I have the stock tires on my t-maxx and the minute you step on the road its like an ice rink. When you get in the off-road it rips though, especially in mud.

Oh yeah. His pulls to the right almost immediately. Now, when we race around our yard, he kills my Jato. All the Jato does is spin out if you accelerate to much. But on, the road, I pass him like he's not moving. :D

Oh yes, I love it. My favorite RC, ever. It's just too fun. It can only be run on roads and pavement, so if you have grass, you're gonna need new tires. I haven't tested dirt yet. And yes, it pulls wheelies on demand. I've gotten it up to 59 mph on my road so far. Then I run out of room. :(

That's the only picture I have. At the moment, I have a broken front A-Arm, so I can't run it today, and it's 55 degrees out! :(
