When I opened up my brand new gallon of byrons rtr 20% fuel, a very small piece of the seal which is foil and plastic fell in my fuel. I'm not sure if I want to dump almost a gallon of fuel into another jug for this small piece of seal. I know its in there and I know I'll be careful filling my fuel bottles but is there any danger with leaving it in there until I use more and then dump it into another gallon? I'm also kinda clumsy so I know I'll spill some with it being almost full. As always thanks in advance, Steve.

Most rigs have a filter in the fueltank and most of us also run an inlinefilter as well. If you take these precautions you shouldnt have anything to worry about.
You are right with all of these points, but I just don't know if I would take a chance. I would just as soon get a bucket and a funnel and take care of it. You can never be too careful, ya know?

If i ever have something in my fuel or anything .. i use a mesh like funnel for spray guns when you paint a car for getting all the chunks out of the paint.

If you go to your hardware store you can get either some sort of mesh screen or something to catch the foil when you pour it. Then just throw the funnel away with the foil inside.. Thing is, is sometimes the foil will sink to the bottom making it harder to get.

It's in the bottom of the new gallon. I think once the fuel gets used I'll get a throw away funnel and go from there. Thanks again for all the tips.
