Just A (REALLY Dumb) Thought...

I was talking with my Dad and a buddy about aircraft, then submarines came up (pun not intended), and then that turned into nuclear generators. Then I had a thought; "Why don't they make a nuclear RC car?" I said that out loud, and then realized how stupid it was, but not after considering making one. Can you imagine: You're on the 8th scale track, you're dominating the competition, one of the reasons being you don't need to refuel or put fresh batteries in. Then, you're coming down the straightaway and your steering goes wonky, you flip and wreak into the wall. Nuclear waste starts leaking onto the track and other cars drive through it... and start melting. The radiation starts messing with all the radio frequencies, sending cars flying out of the track into the crowd and the street. The city has to be evacuated, costing millions, if not billions of dollars.
I've gone a little overboard, haven't I? Anyways, you get the point.

Chernobyl melt down happened on a top secret r/c track and is, to this day, THE reason why we don't see Russian R/C's Here at the Western World.

They actually tried using a remote controlled robot to clear the radioactive debri from the roof, and the radiation fried the electronics within seconds.

I looked on the Wikipedia page and it didn't mention anything RC, other than a satellite.
