Anyone know if the gears out of a 590M will fit into a 570? I got hosed on ebay and the guy said return it for refund, but with shipping and whatnot, it's more of a hassle for a $18 transaction... I think I can get my hands on a torched 590 is why I'm asking.

boy I'm not sure on that, but i do know the 650MG and the 590MG have the same Top plate and gear positioning. i have a 590 topplate on a 650 servo atm.

the 570 must be an older out of production servo, unless you ment the 270 servo.

In that case I would think not. 270 has plastic gears and low torque, 590 has metal gears and is high torque. Probably way off base but that's my best guess.

Actually, after rummaging around my stuff today, I found a 590 I bummed off a guy I bash with. It was a 590 spectrum servo that came with his spectrum radio. He busted the ears off the top part of the case. So, he swapped it with a stripped 270 top that he had laying around and that's what I have now. The 590 with 590M gears and a 270 top.

The answer to my own question was laying in my pile of crap (otherwise known as a work bench).

Sorry to waste your time guys.

no problem. i wondered if the tops on the 270 and 590 were the same too. sure look like it from outside, but pin alignment inside may of been different. dont appear so.

seems the 270 590 and 650 all share very common setups.

those speky servos are just relabled and different color than the JR models.
