Has anyone used the JK Hybrid pinons?

This is for TA RC10B6.4. The pinions are lighter than the standard pinions, reducing rotational mass. Not sure what is real and what is snake oil here. From what I can tell, it's about .5 g.

My guess is its for the stock class cars, trying to save every last bit of weight.
I am also not sure if something like this could survive a modded motor hammering jumps all day.

Unless you are into 17.5T/21.5T spec/stock class racing; chasing tenths of a second... forget about it.

I run them indoors in stock 13.5/17.5 classes. I've only stripped one in the last 2 years.

No, but I saw them and was wondering about them.

Yes to 17.5, but currently chasing several seconds not tenths of seconds. Might be wasted on my other than some bling.

I don't know if you ever watch these videos. They might be helpful in picking up a few seconds. Set up as well as driving skill tips from pro drivers who actually win.

Once a person can drive and the set up is dialed in, will be pretty much in the same boat with all the other drivers.

Since the motors and escs are all similar, blinky mode 17.5 and 13.5 set ups, racers need to find other ways to edge out the competition.

Everyone will be using ceramic bearings, lightweight gears, slipper eliminators, carbon fiber... Each upgrade offering tiny gains that eventually add up to an advantage.

That's how stock class racing gets expensive.

How are you as a driver?

I am very rusty. I have a ways to go before I'll be looking for upgrades to get me to a podium! Lol!
