Jet jam brushless

I have a jet jam I put a brushless system in and a new coupler to fit but when I hit the throttle it shakes and goes slower then stock, idk what to do

What was the stock system it had in it? What is the new brushless system you put in it? Did you make any other modifications or changes to it?

So I figured out that motor was to powerful as soon as I put a lower kv motor in works good the only problem is the coupler, it has screws on both sides of it and I can’t get it perfectly centered, it runs good without it centered it just shakes the boat and would probably be better on it if it was straight.
