Well, for the fourth time I have a modelex Jk 3-door chassis in my hands... this time it doesn't leave the house... at the moment this is what there is, an offroad version chassis with a yellow body bought in the Italian forum and by the way in a immaculate condition:

And the mechanical part, well, we have what I have removed from the Vs4, currie f9 axles, tranny vfd with 21% overdrive to which I have removed the DIG, incision uni-joints and 90mm incision shock , all with axe2300 combo and 32kg MoB servo. And wheels proline bf goodridge krawler in g8 compound with gear head rims

I have changed the chassis and the bodywork hehehehe to a very good friend who preferred a "series" one, for this:

That's how he took it with what he had mounted on the chassis that I kept hehehehe

Today I have worked hard, first to put the pass of the tranny, and then the VFD:

Then make links, in 4mm with the axial raw builders and traxxas ball joints, fit everything, at 300mm wheelbase:

And after some cuts in the bodywork to fit the VFD and the battery in the back, and there are still touches to be made, but for the moment:

The blue body looks better to me. Needs a Camel toe sticker.. Gotta loves a nice CT…

Christmas work

testing china baja pro x called super swamper

Well, it was his turn, so we are going to restore the JK and change its look a bit...

It is not the "silver grey" that I expected, and painting over the powder paint seemed sacrilege to me, so it will stay that way, two exits and four scratches and it is not noticeable. Add that in person it is more silver than in the photo.

a few photos of the JK... more enjoyment hehehehe in the truck thread are the photos of the rest of the day hehehe

Wow lots of changes, those tires have a ton of grip for it to be able to drive upside down like that. 🤣 looks great, and once again, jealous of your crawling spots.

Truly amazing. Where did you get that still chainsaw? I have upwards of 20 peices of Stihl equipment.

Jealous of your saw and area.
