okay so i just:( got a jato 3.3 the other day and when i am running it sometimes i lose my sterring and throttle and i have done everything from change to new batteries to upgrading the servos to water proof and checking all wires can any one help

i am guessing this is a used jato because if it was new it would have gone back to traxxas.
first i would get a flap battery pack and lose aa batteriers if you are using them.
is this a 27 mhz or 2.4?
if 27 mhz check the cyrstals to see if they are loose and the check the receiver you might have water in the receiver.
check the antenna alot of people leave the anteena hang out and the get chopped off from all the flipping
let us know

Upgrading to a 6 volt, rechargeable nimh receiver battery is the first upgrade you want to make to the electronics. They deliver more current over a longer period of time which makes for a better operating electronic system. As stated, look for exposed, frayed, smashed wires.

no it is a new jato 3.3 i know because i got it from the hobby shop

and is a 2.4 not a 27mhz

and if i would upgrade to the flap battery pack do i have to upgrade any thing and how much and what kind

and also is theflap battery pack for the car or controler

The pack that he is referring to is for the receiver on the truck.

i sent the car back to traxxas so they could look at it because all the electronis stop working so i will leave a message when i get it back

i got my car back and it was the on and off swith it got fuel on it and the fuel caused corrison of the electronic parts

the on and off switch got fuel on it and it lead to the corrison of the electronical parts
