I'm more partial to the S14 (94-97 240) style myself.I never did like the flip up headlights on any car.I wish we would get the S15 over here.Like Kwong said you can purchase entire front clips straight from Japan add a Bomex body kit and you've got yourself a JDM Silvia(as close as it can get anyway).I've only seen 1 real S14 Silvia. It was at a show last year here in Pa. I couldn't beleive it when I saw it!!!I talked to the guy just to make sure it wasn't a 240 with a right hand drive swap and he told me he purchased it in Japan and had it shipped over here.Awsome awsome cars!!!

I thought the S14 body style started at 1993?

You know, if I were gonna do a sr20det swap, i'd get an s13 US 240 then get an s13 full clip. Do the headlight conversion while i'm at it.

btw, i think the engine alone is like $1000 and full clip is somewhere in the $2000 range. But full clip will come with everything you need....and a few things you don't need :)

Getting the full clip will also save you alot of time during installation.

I'm on a budget. I can't pay for the front clip and shipping. Ill barely afford the engine. Its will take me all of this summer's paychecks plus some more oddjobs to Get it

Yeah but you'll still need everything that's on the clip. And buying all the other stuff individually would probably add up to the same

Har Har Har.....Nah. I've been doing yard and garden work for many people sence I'v been 13. Four yards a week at 20 to 30 bucks a yard is nice money ont he side plus fliipin tha burgers or sacking groceries

DSM? You mean Diamond Star Motors? I was there in 1988, working on the first Ecrips launching. It was a good car.

Hey do they have a lot of ae86's just laying around in Japan? I'd LOVE to have a JDM 86...

There are many sold in used car market. But still very expencive. AE86 was one of the best and last FR layout car in Japan. I had one before in 1984 and it was very nice car, easy drifting in winding mountain roads.

Ofcourse Diamon Star Motors. I love the DSM family those cars are so fun to drive. 1st generation eclispe GST feals like your in a roomy corvette.
