LOL..Welcome back man..Hey better starting reading and posting away man !:breakdown

 I must have missed the thread that mentioned you were going on vacation. I was wondering where you were at. I guess that would explain it. hehe

I forgot to check up on this thread.

Vacation was good. My mom and brother in flew from California. We had a good time.

As for R/C stories, my brother brought his electric car with him. It's an HPI RS4 if I'm not mistaken. It had a carbon fiber body and an aftermarket engine I'm sure. Some guy from florida had it and gave it to another guy that didn't know what he had. My brother bought it for $10 -- car, charger, radio, the whole nine yards.

Those touring cars are friggen light. The acceleration with that engine he had was insane. I had my hyper 8-port at a conservative setting trying to keep the temps down. He would beat me off the line but I'd catch up to him in the end. I leaned my 8-port race out (270-280) for a little bit and showed him acceleration was done. I wish I could keep it at that setting. He didn't even have a chance not even with a full charge. When I race, I may run my heats that way. =devil

Seeing an electric in person was kind of cool. I can see how they would be sweet for racing. Run all year around (indoors too). Not a whole lot of messy nitro oil around. Fewer mechanical problems. The whole hit the throttle and go thing. Then again when he was charging his battery for 15min, I was doing this: :radio: Also, less wrenching, for me, would mean less fun.
