ok this may sound dumb but iv followed the tuning chart from rolex and yes my car idels as long as u want it to , its got smoke , and reves right up when u touch the gas with no hesitation ..... the problem is it dosent like to idle down after mashin the gas ????? put it back to factory .... re tuned.... same thing but but not every time i mash it .....?????? plz help this is my accosiated mgt 4.6 truck

Have you sealed the motor? It sounds like an air leak to me.

Go back to that same sticky and farther down is an excellent 'How To' on sealing the engine. It sounds like an air leak.

definatly need to tear down the engine completely clean it...check the bearings and eveything else. assuming that its all ok then seal it up. Even if this doesn't happen to fix your problem it really should be done anyway to every engine.

I would get new o-rings for it IF the rest of the engine seems good. Then look for some stuff called 'lucky seven engine sealant'. It's a 'wicking' sealant that can be used after re-assembly and won't make a mess.
