is this normal?

is it normal for there to be black residue around the exhaust side of the body and the exhaust pipe? or does this mean the car is running rich? sorry if this is a dumb question, I'm new to this hobby

Oily residue is normal. How much is dependent on the oil content of the fuel and how rich/lean your tune is.

its normal, its caused by the blue smoke coming out of the pipe which is good. nothing wrong with it.
