down to a 13t for 30 bucks? yup nice controler for the $. you could probably get away with running a 12 turn if you wanted to.

cool thanks.....i bought 2 of them one for my tc3 and one for my rustler
so if they suck it will suck X 2

I know someone who has the same ESC, and he likes his. I think the deal is that they're made to the specifications of the Futaba MC330 just without the name, and therefore they're cheaper.

sure will..........I've bought a 13t double and a 14t quad wind from towerhobbies i hope ill see a lot of differance in speed from the stock 19t in my tc3

I am not too sure but does that really say 200 A as on 200 AMPS? don't they mean mA? That sounds really outrageous. Not to sure if I would buy that.IMO

well to late for me I've already made the plunge.... they should be here this week.
ill let ya know if i find myself controling a 40mph bal of fire :)

btw off topic but if anyone reading this knows....how fast can i expect to go with a 13t and a 7 cell pack and i have a asortment pack of 6 pinions to play with the gearing

ok i got my rustler and my esc in....I've taken the manual speed control out and installed the esc...heres my problem this esc says it has battery elimination circuit ( bec ) but i can not get any steering unless i hook up a receiver pack to the receivers bat conection this is my first esc instalation so am i doing something wrong? i

your esc may have bec but does your receiver? if not then a seperate receiver pack is the olny way. if your receiver says "bec" on it somwhere then you have a problem. also are you able to get throttle response?

yeah i have a futaba receiver and it says bec as well.....yes i get ful throtle responce but no steering unless i plug in a receiver pack.....its sounding kinda like I'm screwed

olny a few things i can think of right now. DOUBLE CHECK POLARITY goin into the receiver (even though the throttle works). and if thats good then jump the pins for the reciver pack (completer the cuircut for the reciver pack) see if it works then. you can also check the speed control plug conections for security, the reciever pins for security. if your still assed up lemme know and ill ask a buddy for back up. good luck!

ok after trying everything i could think of + everything suggested here (thanks wereks21) i could not get the steering to work without a receiver pack
i was trying to keep this simple and not open the other esc or tear apart my tc3 untill i had a good idea what was going on....well i broke down today and took the other esc and hooked it up to my tc3....everything worked as it should so i tried the other one that was in the rustler and it worked so i took the second esc and tried it in the rustler and every worked right off with the new esc
so to recap both esc`s worked in the tc3 and only the second one works in the rustler........now i have two running cars and the 14t & 13t motors should be here today so this weekend ill let you know how they run

thats some crazy $h*t. although it makes no sense as they are identical esc's, I'm glad your up and running. lemme know what you think of the escs and where i can snag em.
