is this a good deal?

No that's not a bad deal for what you are getting. Shipping is pretty high though. I think if you can scoop it for $139 ($169 total) you may come out on top. You should have your very own frequency with synthesize 40mhz. :radio:

Yeah $170 total would be a good price for the radio.
His shipping charges are astronomical. $30 to ship a radio is absolutely absurd. You just have to hope everyone else also sees those shpping fees, if not they'll bid on what they think is a good deal and you'll be outbid on what would be a good deal.

40Mhz? What's the deal with that? I've never even heard of that.

That's because its not an approved frequency in the US.

It is an approved frequency in the UK and Europe.

Would that be a problem here? I mean would the frequency police come and give problems when bashing?

Only if you happen to interfere on a regular basis with things like cell towers, airports, and other fun things where interference is considered a bad thing.

I've done business with cty300. He's a good guy.

I too have done business with CTY300 you will get what he has advertised for sure. The shipping is so high so he can make a little money on the deal and cuz it's coming from China. If you look for an online RC shop that is in China or Japan you can pay the same price plus shipping and you should be money ahead.
